The Freshwater Systems 10″ X 4.5″ Twin Replacement Filter Pack (Pleated & Carbon Block) is ideal for whole house rainwater, tank water or river water.

It suits our twin Big Blue 10″ x 4.5″ System, and includes:

• 5 Micron Pleated Filter
• 5 Micron Coconut Carbon Filter

5 Micron Pleated Filter

Pleated filters are designed to have a large surface area, ideal for water with high particle contamination, such as algae, organic matter or sediment, which would cause rapid blockage in other filters.

This extends the lifespan of the filter before replacement is necessary. They can be removed and washed for reuse, until the pleated filter material degenerates.

Carbon Block Filter

Carbon is the main filtration material for removal of contaminants that discolour water or make it taste and smell unpleasant. These filters are universal and will suit all 10″ x 4.5″ Big Blue Housings regardless of supplier or brand.
