Demineralised water, also known as deionised water, refers to water that has been treated to remove dissolved salts, minerals, and other impurities. These ions, typically present in untreated water, include calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, and sulphates, which can cause scaling, corrosion, or contamination in sensitive industrial equipment.
