Freshwater System water softeners are a state-of-the-art compact softening unit suitable for household use on mains water. Available in 18L and 30L models, we have whole of house water softening systems for various flow requirements.

As water passes through a bed of sodium cat-ion resin, it trades calcium and magnesium ions for the sodium ions, reducing the level of hardness ions and replacing them with an equivalent amount of non-hardness ions.

The result is soft, more usable water, which reduces scale buildup, extends the life of water heaters and other appliances and the use of less detergent and most importantly reduces skin irritation.
