This filter pack is compatible with most undersink twin water filter systems, as well as most undersink reverse osmosis systems. The filter combination is highly-effective for filtration of mains municipal tap water, to make it smell, taste and look better.
1 Micron Polyspun Filter
Freshwater Systems polyspun sediment cartridges are constructed from polypropylene which is spun whilst melting. Compatible with most liquids they remove sediment, rust, sand, silt, and algae. They are an effective form of filtration and carry a lot of sediment before requiring replacement.
Poly spun filters are a disposable filter suited to through filtration of relatively clean water for removal of sediment.
0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filter
Carbon is the main filtration material for removal of contaminants that discolour water or make it taste and smell unpleasant. These filters are universal and will suit all 10″ x 4.5″ Big Blue Housings regardless of supplier or brand. Each filter is also sold separately.
