Whole House Filtration
Fully Australian manufactured whole of house filter system containing granular activated carbon, or multi-media filter, for filtering mains potable water. These systems are commonly used for the removal of chlorine, organic chemicals, taste, odour and sediment.
Water Softeners
When mineral content exceeds the level of ordinary water in a drinking system, water is considered ‘hard’ and requires the intervention of water softeners to remove ions such as calcium, iron and magnesium. Though you may have never heard of hard water, you would have noticed its effects in your home or business.
The scale and discolouration that can build up in bathrooms around plumbing fixtures and fittings, and inside water-using appliances, is usually the result of the impurities in hard water. Water softeners work by removing the calcium, iron and magnesium, via ion exchange, making hard water, soft. This has numerous benefits that will be felt right throughout your home. They have also been known to help with skin issues.

Drinking Water
Our domestic service technicians are experienced in installing, servicing and repairing custom made drinking water systems for residential facilities. Through utilising our advanced Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology, we are able to process water at a molecular level, where pure water molecules are separated from impurities and automatically rinsed down the drain. Our under sink Reverse Osmosis System uses the following four (4) stages of purification:
Stage 1: Sediment Cartridge for sediment particle reduction.
Stage 2: Carbon Cartridge for reduction of chlorine, taste, odour, and various organics.
Stage 3: RO Membrane for reduction of minerals, salinity, heavy metals (such as lead), fluoride, nitrates, cysts, E.Coli and viruses.
Stage 4: Disposable Carbon cartridge for final filtration after the Storage Tank.
Freshwater’s Twin Drinking Water System is made with the highest quality, Australian made housings on a stainless steel bracket and is designed to improve the quality and taste of mains potable water, with its 1-micron sediment filter and a 0.5-micron carbon block taste and odour removal filter.
The system uses two filtration stages:
- Sediment cartridge is used to filter dirt particles such as sand, silt and rust
- Carbon cartridge is used to reduce chlorine taste, odour and organics. The cartridge supplied in our system will also filter 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium Cysts.
