Marrone Fresh Produce

About This Project

Completed: 2021

Client: Marrone Fresh

Freshwater Systems has a reputation for solving the most challenging water issues, and this project was no exception. Marrone Fresh is one of South Australia’s leading growers and packers of Swedes, turnips, parsnips and carrots as well as many others, therefore being involved in this project was exciting.

Bore water is utilised in the washing bay to clean all fresh vegetables. The waste from this area is then stored in a series of settling pits, before being pumped through Freshwaters 9,000L/hr Water Treatment Plant. The “Filtrate” water is then carefully disinfected & monitored to ensure clean water is delivered back into the recycling system ready for reuse.

We were proud  to work closely with Tony Marrone and the rest of the family, who had the confidence in us to ensure the project was managed correctly from start to finish.
